Buyer Terms
Last updated: 2026-01-19
These Buyer Terms ("Buyer Terms") apply to buyers who purchase digital goods from sellers using 2DL (2dl.app) powered checkout and delivery.
Digital goods are non-tangible
Purchases on 2DL are typically for digital goods and/or digital access. Digital goods can be delivered immediately (for example, via download links or license keys).
License vs ownership
Unless a seller expressly states otherwise, you receive a license to use the digital good, not ownership of any intellectual property. Your rights may be limited by the seller’s license terms.
Refunds
Refund eligibility is primarily determined by the seller you purchased from and applicable law. Because digital goods can be accessed immediately, sellers may limit or deny refunds after delivery.
If a seller does not publish a refund policy, refunds (if any) are handled based on applicable law and the nature of the digital goods. See the Refund & Dispute Policy for guidance: 2dl.app/refunds.
Age and minors
You must be at least 13 years old to purchase through 2DL.
If you are under the age of majority where you live, your parent or legal guardian must consent to your purchase and agrees to be bound by these Buyer Terms and the Platform Terms on your behalf.
Disputes and chargebacks
- If you initiate a dispute/chargeback, access to the associated digital goods may be temporarily disabled while the dispute is investigated.
- If a dispute results in a refund or reversal, access may be revoked or deactivated.
- Repeated disputes, abuse, or fraudulent behavior may result in account restrictions.
Eligibility and account requirements
- You may need to provide a valid email address to receive receipts and delivery links.
- You are responsible for maintaining access to your email and safeguarding receipt links.
Abuse prevention
You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to downloads, licenses, or paid content, or otherwise misuse the platform. We may restrict or terminate access to prevent abuse.
Dispute resolution
Dispute resolution processes may be governed by the Platform Terms and the payment provider’s rules. 2DL may provide transaction and delivery logs to payment providers to support investigations.
Disputes between you and 2DL are governed by the Dispute Resolution section in the Platform Terms of Service (including, where applicable, binding arbitration and class action waiver).
Warranty disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, purchases made through 2DL are provided by sellers. 2DL does not make warranties about seller products and disclaims all warranties to the extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, 2DL will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages related to buyer purchases or delivery. Any liability is subject to the limitations and caps described in the Platform Terms of Service.
Relationship to other terms
These Buyer Terms supplement the Platform Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, the Refund & Dispute Policy, and other policies. If there is a conflict, these Buyer Terms control for buyer-specific matters.
